About Vitron.
"Simple eSolutions... for real life"
Vitron Inc. started in the mid 1980’s manufacturing center console units for emergency vehicles. Because many components were spread throughout a patrol vehicle, a mount called a “Stackrack” was developed to centralize all of the equipment to keep equipment in easy reach of the operator or his/her partner.
The centralized solution morphed into an overhead Console product – that contained switches for emergency lights, scanner, siren control head, speakers and cabin lights. Through the years patrol cruisers went from large full size ... shrinking to compact vehicles. Console production was eventually suspended due to the diminished passenger cabin space.
VITRON INC. CEO Vince Gerace is a 36 year law enforcement veteran who recently retired as a Sheriff’s Administrative Lieutenant. His responsibilities included directing Public Safety Tech as well as leading the County's unique Forensic Investigation Team. As technical administrator, Vince Gerace was involved with budgeting, acquisition, deployment and management of tech & was intimately involved in improvement of tech with every police agency in the county.
Over the years the agency was considered the leader in providing law enforcement cutting edge technology at the maximum value for the taxpayer. Carrying on this simple approach is Vitron CEO's passion.
