eReports is purpose: provide streamlined report delivery & eliminate paper reports... put an end to “sneaker net”  (having to hand deliver)  

 

eReports provides a upload to a spreadsheet function, its primary design is intended to "fill a niche" for the affordable replacement of paper.  Linking to a Records Management System (RMS) is usually vendor proprietary and not eReports primary function.  However eReport fields can be designed to match your agencies RMS system to facilitate uploads.  Your agencies RMS vendor would need to be engaged to facilitate upload capability. 
  
Specific to your agency needs the following options are available: 

• Officer report emailed to supervisor or records

• Supervisorory approval process may be engaged

• Conformation email is sent to complainant with incident/crime number

• Complete report may be sent as PDF attachment to victim, reporting officer, records… whoever needs it

• Report is uploaded to a Google Docs spreadsheet… downloadable as excel

• Attachments uploaded to your Dropbox account 

• Linking to Google Calendar (public or private view)

• Auto news release on selected incident types... redacted (general) call info can be sent automatically to media
